“Better late than never.”
I posted the saying above because this is really a late post and I’m sorry for that. I’ve been so busy when the month of December entered until around the 20th. There were so many projects, final examinations, meetings and events.
Last December 4, 2012, the Junior Management Association and College Student Council of De La Salle University-Science and Technology Complex (formerly De La Salle Canlubang) held its Rocking Around the Animo Tree. It involves a food and clothing bazaar, a fashion show and various performances.
I was in-charge of the entire fashion show since it’s one of my projects in the College Student Council. My objective for the said fashion show was to help students to be stylish without violating our dress code policy.
I invited different fashion lines such as Green Fusion, Closet Queen, Bonjour Bella, Verzelle Couture, Mod8 and Ayan by Ayan Gaytano.
Closet Queen is owned by Ms. Christine Fojas. It’s an online shop but Ms. Christine told me that she plans to have her own boutique soon. Like Closet Queen on Facebook. Below are the photos of Closet Queen’s Christmas collection for the said fashion show:
Bonjour Bella is another online shop owned by Ms. Olive Sevilla. Like Bonjour Bella on Facebook. Her collection for the said fashion show is more on neon colors and prints. Below are the photos:
Next is Verzelle Couture. The owner of this online shop is a very creative person and no other than Ms. Razel Pabalan. Check out her blog and her shop. Below are photos of her collection during the fashion show:
A new online shop just opened weeks before the fashion show and it is Fashion8. Owned by Ms. Yoyeth Alarcon and Chiel Alvarez, this new online shop offers clothing and accessories for both male and female. Like them on Facebook. Below are the photos of their collection during the fashion show:
Last but not the least is Ayan by Ayan Gaytano. Ayan Gaytano launched her limited RTW pieces from her new line, Ayan by Ayan Gaytano during the event. She actually have Ayan Gaytano Couture and now, Ayan by Ayan Gaytano. Check out her blog. Like Ayan Gaytano Couture and Ayan on Facebook. Below are photos of her limited RTW collection:
This was the first fashion show I organized and I really thank God for its success. I would also like to thank all the fashion lines and the people who helped me in this event. More fashion shows to come. I hope you like it. Take Care.
